Zoe was born January 12, 2002 and is the sweetest calico cat. She has beautiful coloring and a straight line down her nose, almost as if someone drew it with a ruler. One side is black around her eyes and the other is a light brown-orange color and she has a little pink nose.
I rescued Zoe when she was four weeks old from an abandoned house in upstate New York. At the time I had to feed her store bought kitten milk with a baby bottle and follow the directions of my vet. She was a very healthy cat growing up and only ever eating dry food, or as we call them crunchies. She was always rewarded with treats specifically made for cats but also a couple licks of vanilla ice cream when anybody had it. She never liked or look for any other people food – only ice cream.
As she got older, it got harder for her to digest the dry food so I started trying different canned foods from the local pet stores. The stores I frequented were either Petsmart or Petco. But after a few months of doing well with other canned foods, she began throwing them up more frequently and I had to find another food. A friend of mine who also has a cat suggested I try a smaller store, a more specialty type store. I started going to Pet Valu in New Hyde Park NY. I tried a few different dry foods along with Performatrin Ultra canned food. At first they seemed to work well but just like the others, eventually she began vomiting all over again. The only one she didn’t throw up was the salmon bisque flavor canned food.
I wanted to give her more of a variety by giving her the other flavors but the salmon bisque has been our favorite for a while now. She’s happy, healthy, has a great coat, and loves the bisque!!
Zoe recently went for a wellness visit at the vets’ office and she got a clean bill of health. I was dreading the visit afraid of hearing some bad news because she will be 16 in January and is getting older but she is doing great!!
Thanks to Performatrin Ultra, I was able to get Zoe back on a healthy track! I have recommended this brand to others and always say that I feel that it saved her life because had I not found another food to work so well with her digestive system, who knows what would have happened to her with the vomiting all the time and not getting proper nourishment.
It’s just this little girl and me together in my apartment and she is my baby. I’m so grateful to have found the right food for her so I know that every day that I come home I see her little paws under the door as I head up the stairs to my apartment. She’s my “itty bitty pretty kitty!”
